Estonian-designed glass mosaic for interiors, wet rooms and pools

Gils is an Estonian glass mosaic brand founded in 2014. We are a subbrand of the Estonian company Vipex AS: Gils owns the design, product specification and brand, while Vipex handles distribution and retail. We work with interior architects, designers, pool builders and homeowners looking for a glass mosaic that is hard-wearing and considered in its colour.

We make glass mosaic tiles in a standard 327×327 mm sheet format, mounted on mesh backing. A box typically contains 1.07 or 2.14 m² of mosaic. The range covers more than 11 collections: the multicolour Mix and Night Sky, the warm brown Mocca and the yellow-toned Mocca Light, creamy Latte and Caramel, the multicolour earth-toned Ardesia, the pearlescent white Perla, the cool multicolour Alaska, the warm brown Capri and the multicolour green Irish Moss. The palette runs from cool whites through warm browns to richly mixed blends, so the same brand can carry a calm bathroom and a statement pool. All collections are suitable for interior walls, floors, wet rooms and swimming pools.

Gils mosaic is designed in Estonia and manufactured in China to Gils specifications, using specialist glass-mosaic production processes. We are upfront about this split: the deepest expertise in volume glass-mosaic manufacturing sits in Asia, and our job is to keep design, colour palette and quality control in Estonian hands. Each batch is reviewed against our specification before it reaches Estonia, so the box the installer opens matches the drawing the designer signed off.
